Title: captcha, avatar, attachments?

When registering for this site and making my first reply to a post I nearly gave up trying to figure out the captcha letters. Ended up doing the sound version which the pop up seems to have some issues with my settings (no idea really if it was my end or this site) so I had to download to listen to get the letters.

Spent a few minutes looking around and notice the blank spot under my name so I went to my profile to put up an avatar...no luck finding my settings for that, so I went to the help link which just directs me to the SMF site.

I noticed I can upload attachments that can cause harm to anyone who downloads but I can't upload an avatar?


I'm not complaining, just pointing out things I noticed
...and couldn't notice :not-possible:
