Post by: Peter_K on September 07, 2012, 01:11:46 AM
Smf Version 2.0.2
SP: 2.3.5
Theme: Classic Red

I have tried following the tutorial for this and I cannot get it working, when adding the edits described I wind up getting a syntax error, unexpected , or ;
Please find the index.template attached any input on getting this working would be great

If you are using SMF 2.0.2 buttons are in ./Sources/Subs.php file (after $buttons = array().
And besides that, SP should add own code for new button, if you have any problems, please attach Subs.php and we'll try to help ;)

//edit:

I searched for your theme, and only one I found is => http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=681 which is compatible only with SMF 1.1.x, and it means that it cannot be used in SMF2.

Peter_K -- if you are somehow managing to make an SMF 1.1.x theme work with SMF 2.x, you could continue to do so.  It is usually an easy matter to find and fix your syntax errors.  It is always useful to know what LINE they are on.  That makes it easier to find them.
