Title: Loading template inside PHP block?

So a while ago i made another slide box (yeah... there's already too many :P).
I added inside template file code to use it specially on portals, and loaded it in PHP block using:

loadTemplate('YTSlideBox');
loadSubTemplate ('ytslidebox_portal');

Would be it correct? I tried to make something like blocks with galery or other built-in blocks, but I didn't even knew where to start.. :|
