Title: Error uninstalling 2.1
Post by: stikkki on December 23, 2008, 10:07:22 AM: ive just uninstalled sp 2.1 and got the following errors which has basically killed my forum

Warning: require_once(/home1/bullbree/public_html/smf/Sources/SPortal1-1.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bullbree/public_html/smf/index.php on line 62

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home1/bullbree/public_html/smf/Sources/SPortal1-1.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/bullbree/public_html/smf/index.php on line 62

line 62 is

require_once($sourcedir . '/SPortal1-1.php');

does this need to be removed ? im assuming it does but want to check

Using the manual installation instructions here (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=parse;mod=1104;attach=71642;smf_version=1.1.7) check if all the edits made by the mod are taken back or not.

Post by: stikkki on December 23, 2008, 02:14:23 PM: it appears that a bunch of stuff hasnt been removed in different places - will using the manual edit instructions for 2.1.1 show me the correct edits to remove to do a full manual uninstall or will there be some differences between the 2.1 & 2.1.1 manual edit instructions?
