I there, I've just come across Simple Portal and therefore new to blocks. Is it possible to have a block that either displays the content of a web page, or gives you the freedom of creating a block that displays the text and images that are shown on the web page.

My reasoning, well I run a couple of rugby forums and want to display news containing images in a large block on the page, but I want that to be laid out similar to a web page news item and not just a post with some images in it.

You can add custom PHP/HTML/BBC blocks or a block of the news.
