Title: New updated downloads block

I got Download System for SMF.
And in VB I had a side block, which showd the users the x latest files and the x most popular file (x was a configurable value, for example 5 or 10 or something like that.

I provided a screenshot from my former vbulletin forum.

Does something like this exists for Downloads System in simpleportal? As far as I know ez has a module for it.
I would like to have something like that, can this be easily made?
