I have been using this menu mod for some time and it is a great mod. I like it very much.

I wonder if you might have an idea on what is causing the following behaviour.

I just purchased Likes Pro mod from SMFPacks http://www.smfpacks.com/likes and when I use this mod everytime I click on a post the full Navgoco menu opens to show all of the boards at once. I appreciate that you are nothing to do with the Likes Pro mod, but wondered if you had an idea about what factors might make the Navgoco menu fully expand.

I have uninstalled the Likes Pro mod at the moment because I want to keep using your Navgoco mod.

Thanks for any ideas.

Has anyone got this on a multi category forum that I can see please ?

Installed it on a test board and it looks as if it does what I want but only have one Cat with one board on the test

 :)  hmmm OK

(wanted to see a "live" one)

Yes, this displays what I want  but I need it so the links are not active and so that all registered members can see all the links no matter what thier membergroup.

Any tips on how/where to look for that ?

I want to display all the categories and boards in them to ALL users (so they can see what is available at other access levels).
I don't want this list of boards and categories to just show what the viewing user has access to and I don't want them to use the display as a link to go to the categories or boards

I want to display all the categories and boards in them to ALL users (so they can see what is available at other access levels).
STRONGLY discouraged, there is a mod for that but it causes a lot of other issues. What you are trying to achieve goes against the natural SMF workflow that "If you can't see it, you can't use it".

I don't want this list of boards and categories to just show what the viewing user has access to and I don't want them to use the display as a link to go to the categories or boards
What do you mean with display in this case?

thanks.

The Business our forum is an Official Support group for is structured as a multi level ladder. Members need to work hard to get themselves in the position where they are able to move up. They all know what levels are available to them. My aim is to show them that the forum covers all the levels and (by showing the boards as well as categories) what specific areas they will get support for as they progress.

By "display" I mean the block

I could just do this manually with a BBC block and update it by editing if we add more boards but would like to keep it "automatic"

Like I said... I can't add anything more than that, and I can't remember the mod that does it either, always disliked it for the issues it was causing.
