When you enable SP it creates the forum link, when you disable it the "HOME" link and "FORUM" link became the same, so if you have SP disabled it should delete the "FORUM" link.

Yep, we are aware of this issue. It has already been reported (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=106.0) and added to the BugTracker.
