Title: I am taken to Forums when I log onto SMF

I have SMF 2.08 and Simple Portal 2.3.5
BF Final

I have seen and tried various fixes for this problem, but yet here I am.  Could someone please run me through the settings so that I am sent to the frontpage when I log on instead of being sent to the forums?

Disable Portal Redirection - Enabling this option will force redirects to treat board index as the forum index, instead of portal index.

that option should be unchecked
