Title: Updated SMF to 2.0.9 & Simple Portal 2.3.6, Now Site Not Working

Hello,

I just updated my www.vegerecipes.com SMF site using the Package Manager to 2.0.9, and after that I used the PM to update Simple Portal to 2.3.6.  Everything seem to upgrade okay after my SP un-install, but now I cannot access the site and I get a short list of errors.

I'm a bit lost what to do now.

Hello and welcome! I'm really sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

In order to get your forum into a workable state back again, please download index.php file of your forum and find and remove the following lines of code:

Code: (Find and Remove) [Select]

require_once($sourcedir . '/Subs-Portal.php');

Code: (Find and Remove) [Select]

// Load SimplePortal.
sportal_init();
Once your forum is back and running, we can try to find out what might have gone wrong and see how we can fix it.

  None of the files were copied to the appropriate directories for some reason. Perhaps there is a folder permission/ownership issue of some sort or an improper directory setting.  Querying specific portal files directly as compared to querying default files reflects this behaviour.
Imo either copy the appropriate SimplePortal files manually else use the SMF full upgrade package to fix the current issue.
