Title: Show only BBC in a block

Hello everyone,
I was looking for a shoutbox and jumped into simpleportal.... all I can say is that it's a very great mod with a lof of feature, very great work.
I've installed the mod twice because I was just doing some tests, and I'm pretty sure that the first time, showing the recent topics in the board news block, I get only the BBCode into the topic displayed.
Now I can't redo it, any suggestion?

Doesn't sound normal nor a smart thing... What would the point of showing just the BBC and not the content? O.o

Well,
the portal was showing only the part into the bbcode in the block, it wasn't a kind of request :P
A lot of threads starts with an image and then a little plot, so even I wan't looking for an effect like this, I have to say that I don't despise the look.
Maybe there were a problem with the first installation, the second one show all the thread content  and I have to limit it with the max char field.

I'm afraid I don't fully understand the question.

Could you explain a bit more, maybe with a link or picture as well?
