Title: SP Shoutbox time does not match site/forum time.
Post by: {OCS}MasterSeal on February 20, 2015, 08:34:58 AM
Hello all. thanks so much for this awesome software!
I've searched for about 10 min looking for this problem and I don't see any posts on it.

My SP shoutbox works great except it does not pick up the time set for my forum/site. It's 6 hours behind.
Where do I adjust this?

Thank you

http://outcastsnipers.com   in case you need to check it yourself. (I don't allow people to see the site at all 'cept a specific few block until they are registered. if you need to be registered let me know and I can PM you a test account. thank you.)

When you post a new post in the shoutbox, the time of the post is 6 hours behind the forum time?
Have you checked your forum time as well as the time setting in your profile?

Thanks for the reply.
I should have specified that the forum time and post/profile times are correct, and that the SP Shoutbox does not sync with them.

Okay, now, you notice this yourself, when post in the shoutbox, and not when someone else does?
Trying to narrow down the possibilities here, s sorry if seem like basic questions.
But, without the ability to actually see, I need to gather info this way.

Thanks so much for replying! Since this is an issue you need an account on my site to view it I went ahead and PM'ed you with relevant information. Thanks for your time!

We use the default SMF functions to parse the time for shouts. So unless some other mod modified the default timeformat() function, there shouldn't be any problems. If you are still having the issue, please let me know and I'll have a look at it at your forum.
