Hello SP!
I stumbled upon a this thread (http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=13532) and instead of bumping it, thought I would create my own offer on such a thing.
As you may or may not know, my forum, I am trying to expand to have many social elements, similar to existing facebook/twitter style ones and believe what this person has managed to create is exactly what I am lacking.

The site, an example can be found on, appears to be using SMF with SP and a custom block (with custom .css file and more as I have discovered)
What I'm looking for it a sort of "Facebook Wall" styled block.
It would have a simple large comment box, (possibly with the option to attach things), a share button and below the items posted would appear (with the ability to comment on each item)
The list of shared items would be one continuous stream (with pagination)
Possibly with a simple way of finding all steam-posts by one user? - or even also replacing my existing profile comments "block" provided by Ultimate Profile.
The example website has a feature in place where if their custom block doesn't load - it is replaced with a link that takes you to a custom action page of the same feature..
I'm happy to expand on any details necessary but I think you'll probably get the idea of what I'm looking for.. - Also happy to pay for the custom work and really look forward to hopefully getting this installed!
I realise this would likely be quite a big job to take on hence willing to pay for the job to be done..
