Title: Uninstalling (Intranet) "Shoutbox PM button" mod stops autorefresh from working

why would this happen, anyone ?

i want to uninstall it as it's conflicting with another mod (SP Shoutbox Permissions).

reinstalling it fixes the problem !

The refresh symbol goes aropund-and-around for ages and then i have to manually refresh the page - what causes that ?

after some research i discovered, via the browser's Developer's tools and the page HTML source, that the wrong javascript was being loaded - it was pointing to my live system that still had the mod on !

a silly mistake on my part.

actually, SMF's repair_settings.php (that points to my local IP address not by DNS name) fixed it for me.
