Title: SimplePortal as guest when using SSI.php to wrap Wordpress
Post by: ramon.cutanda on February 09, 2017, 06:42:30 AM
Hi,

I am currently using Wordpress for the documentation of my site. In order to "wrap" Wordpress within  SimplePortal I added the following code inside the header.php file of my Wordpress template.

Code: [Select]
<?php
require_once('/path_to_my_SMF/SSI.php');
template_header();
?>

Even after logging in SMF/SimplePortal, when accessing my Wordpress, SimplePortal is always shown as if accessed like a guest.

I am the only one adding articles to Wordpress; so I am not interested in a full WP-SMF integration. I what the customize the blocks to be shown to guests or registered users when accessing my Wordpress. But I can't because SimplePortal is always shown in the "guest" format.

I am using the "Independent" Portal mode and I've got checked the "Subdomain independent cookies" and "Database session" options.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Bests,
