Hi,
Can you please help me in adding the shoutbox in the home page ?
I tried to add the blocks, but the shout box is not there in the add block.

Which shout box do you use?
Bye

This should be possible with the PHP block. But as ???1031 said, we need to know which shoutbox you are referring to. ;)

I believe nneonneo's has a "TP" block (which would likely work for SP as well) written. Ultimate Shoutbox is just a function include, though the function may need to be repasted in the block. SMF Shoutbox, and the AJAX Shoutbox (Blue's) are just function calls, I think.

I could not get the ultimate shoutbox to function. You can get the shoutbox information from Simple Machines forum, I'll get the link for you and paste it here.

So does that mean SMF Shoutbox can not be integrated with SP?

No, not at all. It's certainly possible, maybe not just simply, but it will work.
-
It should definetly be possible, but as Eliana said, it may take some work.
I'll have a look into this once I have done the SMF 2 Beta version. ;)

Thanks a lot for looking into this.
