Title: Change Content of Board News Block

Hi All,

Just wondering if I can change what topic details show up in the Board News Block. Currently, it is the topic title, created date or last replied date, number of comments link, and the write comment link.

What I'd like to do is remove the num of comments link and write comment link and change it to a "go to player" link. Each topic is a player in this forum.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Hmmm the problem at the moment is, that you need to change the sp_boardNews for this. And than it could be possible that you can not upgrade the simple portal.

:idea: Other way is to load the SSI.php and user the smf version of the function output it as array and make a own formating.
