I found something I'd love to have that I don't think is possible in SP yet. I use the 'portal' of my forum ( http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ ) as a front page. Separate from the ordinary 'news fader' that SMF uses on its forum themes, I would like a block that would do a switch or fade between separate pieces of code. It'd be ideal if it would take php as well as html but even html would be good. Most ideal would be if there was a way to either (1) choose the 'news' of the forum itself for the content here, or (2) to import the news into a list of entries (so you could modify them for this, say add images, longer descriptions, etc.), or (3) to create additional line items for this. (4) Perhaps another option that would switch through whatever images (like swf banner ads) were in a given folder, but that seems like it might be better as its own mod.
Just an idea. Like you guys don't have enough to do! Keep up the awesome work!
