Title: Error Messages with 2.3 Install
Post by: adamspt2 on September 02, 2009, 01:03:46 PM
I installed 2.3 today and the install process seemed to go fine. However, If I try to go to "SimplePortal" --> "Information" in the Admin section of SMF, I get the following:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare checkdbspammer() (previously declared in /home/ukhoop2/public_html/forums/Sources/Subs-Members.php:1360) in /home/ukhoop2/public_html/forums/Sources/Subs-Members.php on line 1425

I'm also getting errors on the home page which I figure may be related:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sportal() in /home/ukhoop2/public_html/index.php on line 45

Uh, pay no attention to me as I can't follow simple instructions. I'll post back in here if I'm having troubles once I'm actually done with the install.

OK, I admit it. I'm not too bright. I've been playing with my settings, I've got my standalone file up, and here's the error message:

Please don't access SSI.php by URL directly; you may want to use the path ('SSI.php') or add ?ssi_function=something.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: redirectexit() in /home/ukhoop2/public_html/index.php on line 54

In the standalone file I have the following:

// Should be the full path!
$forum_dir = 'forums/';

That is all that I have changed in the standalone file, which lives in the root directory, one level up from my forums. SSI.php lives in my forums subfolder.
