after uninstalling 2.2.2 my forum now does not work at all giving the following msg .....
Warning: require_once(/home/dazzler2/public_html/forum/Sources/SPortal2.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dazzler2/public_html/forum/index.php on line 68
please advise

Well, are you one of those who ignored the Test Failed on uninstallation? If yes, that might not be a good idea always.
Can you attach your index.php and Subs.php files here?

I guess in my excitement to get sp 2.3 I did ignore the msg, however i have done in the past with no ill effects :(

There was an edit left from older versions. I've removed it. I hope index.php was the only file with Test Failed error.

I was up all night trying to get sp2.3 installed (yeah my own fault I know :( ) but i'm happy to say i now have it running so i'm very happy (and tired lol)
Only issue I have is in admin i still have menu for 2.2 although it does not seem to cause any trouble.
