Title: Controlling the height of pages?
Post by: BigSid on September 21, 2009, 09:03:59 PM
Hi,

I've just recently started using SimplePortal on my site and am very impressed with it. I however have a slight issue with how to control the height of pages.

I'm running SMF v 1.1.10 and SimplePortal 2.3.

I have created a "page" which is of HTML type and uses iframe to pull in the contents of another part of my website, so it all sits nicely under the lovely portal header. However, I'd like the page to fill the browser vertically. At present the iframe height setting is 100% but the page only fills a small part of the screen... see this link -> http://epic-inc.net/smf/index.php?page=page2058

I've tried changing the percentage to various values but this makes no difference. The only way I can make it bigger is by hard coding a pixel value, but the pages being pulled in can vary in height, and I'd like the "page" to fit the current content dynamically if possible.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks - Sid :)

Moved to the Themes and Graphics board.

My first suggestion, don't use iframes for anything, they are hacky.
