I have split this Support Request from the other one, as they are completely unrelated.

What version/s of SimplePortal have you had previously installed? If any?
Did you attempt to install SimplePortal multiple times? If so, was there a different error message on the first attempt? Or is that the only error message that you have seen? (Try looking through your forum error logs)

Was removed and re-installed

If there is not data that you need to keep from the database, then delete the 'sp_%' tables and try the installation process again.
