Title: Is there a way to have a "Groups Manager" type of block?

I'd like to make a block where people can turn on and off the (Free) groups to which they belong more easily.  I know there's a screen in their profile to do it, but I'd like to have a simple picklist on a side-block that I can display in the forum itself.  That way people would be aware of the groups, and can use them to turn on and off message areas that they're interested or not interested in.
