Title: Block view for quests
Post by: Nier on January 07, 2010, 12:37:41 PM
Hi,

I got in my Block Center, board news enabled for guests, but it doesnt appear if your logged in.
Also i disabled SITE NEWS for moderators and members, but it still shows on the portal.
I edit this both in block center.
How can i make portal news showing for quests too, same for disabling news for members.

If you want a block to be only shown to guest, then only select "Guests" for Block Permissions. (You'll still see the block since you are an admin -admin can do everything- but your members won't see it when they log in)

If you want to a block to be only shown to members, then select everything else but "Guests" for Block Permissions.

Make sure "Permission Settings:" for the block is set to "One Membergroup".

Make sure "Permission Settings:" for the block is set to "One Membergroup".
I deleted it, and added it again, that also worked. I think the One Membergroup also would work, but doesnt matter.

Solved= closed :)

Thx Sinan
