Title: Regarding permissions settings in a block
Post by: Chen Zhen on February 13, 2010, 12:36:04 PM
On certain pages of my site I like to set it up so that guests view one thing and regular users view another (or specific user groups)..

Currently, if I choose to only allow guests to view a block the title of that block will appear for other users ranked higher with the upshrink option to expand the block.

How about a check box with an option to hide all of a block including the title to all others except chosen membergroups? This would be for aesthetic purposes so that one can align blocks properly for all user groups on any page of their forum.
Right now some blocks I have for guests to view (only) has the title showing up for all other users and it bumps the rest of the blocks down a bit and messes up the vertical alignment. I disabled these blocks for now but my guests view doesn't look very neat at the moment.. lol.

BTW - Omitting the title for everyone is not an option that I prefer with this specific example.
