Title: [Damnit] I lost Simple Portal on RC 2.03 :-(

Folks,

Was too excited to upgrade my SMF Forum to RC 2.03, i was on SMF 1.1.11 and Simple Portla was working perfect.

And now after upgrading, i can not see Simple Portal any more.... Damn!

Dnt tell me, simple Portal is not compitable with SMF RC 2.03  :not-possible:

What can i do now? How to get simple portal back?

My Forum members going to be furious now, they were addicted to Simple Portal...

Please help.

If you just upgraded versions of SMF, then you will need to reinstall SimplePortal.

I tried to Reinstall but..

Error:

"The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF."


As i just said, i upgraded to SMF 2 RC 2.03


Does simple portal work with this version?

Yes, SP 2.3.1 works with RC3.

In Package manager > browse packages, click the advanced link bottom right.

Change the Emulation version to SMF 2.0 RC2

The parser will then install any mod that was designed for RC2.

Take care though, there are quite a few changes that some older mods for RC2 won't work so you'll still get an error but SP 2.3.1 works just fine.

Yes that us true i also have did on my website and it worked.

You will notice that i have upgrade my site to 2.0 RC3 and that i have Simpleportal instaled.

just folow the steps just like the others say and trust me this will work just fine and all simpleportal work. :D
