Title: Does not install on SMF 2.0 RC3

RC3 is the latest version, it does not install it gives this message when trying to install.

SimplePortal 2.3.1 works perfectly fine with SMF 2.0 RC3. Just emulate the Package Manager version to SMF 2.0 RC2 and you can install and use it without any issues.

That's strange, I personally have never had that problem before - what is going on?

I have gotten this error message before, as a result of messed-up directory permissions.
I don't find the SMF 2.0RC3 file permissions tool very reliable, and am now avoiding using it.
 
Please check your chmod (file permission settings), and also make sure there is a directory "temp" in the "Packages" directory, with chmod permission 777.
 
That might fix the problem.
