Sorry, I noticed there was already a post about this particular problem, But the answer I was looking for was not in that post.

-Downloaded 2.0.4 Simple Portal
Installed Perfect!

-Currently Using 1.5 SMF
 
-www.str8flushforum.com

No Forum button showing up in Index Bar,

Can anyone PLEASE help??

Can you please post your '/Themes/{themename}/index.template.php' file as an attachment?

Are you sure that that is the correct file? Its completely missing the 'template_menu' function... That means that none of the buttons should be shown, unless that function is in a different file for your theme....

Are you using a custom theme or the default one?

It is the correct file.

I am using a copy of the default theme that I myself have costumized.

Do you have any other template files where the 'template_menu' function might be located? Because its definetly not in that file, despite the fact that normally it should be.

Have you worked out where your 'template_menu' function is? Do you still require assistance?
