Title: Translate pages
Post by: Nothingness on May 20, 2010, 02:30:30 AM
Ok I have spanish translated ready but I would like to know how to translate it into another language using a page I created link to subs.php to create dropdown menu. I have never done this before. Let's said I created a donate page in english, user select another language (spanish) from their profile. The donate page is still in english.

That's an interesting idea.

I think you want the "href" in the menu to depend on the user's language?

If so, how about I move this to custom coding?

sure, go ahead. This is something that SMF didn't do on their dropdown menu tabs which is all in english no matter what language you set in the profile. I was told this can be done with string or something but I think I won't work because the page I wrote is long.

I think what you will need is a second page.
Then, whatever "button" you use to get to the page serves a different link depending on the language.
I don't know anything about the language settings, but I bet someone will.
