Any chance for someone to make a block like ipb activity/status block? Where users can update their status, based on custom text profile?!

I had a look at the link you provided.

The block you pointed out looks similar to the current shoutbox imo.

A status block wouldn't function like a shoutbox, however its appearance is versatile.

In theory it isn't that difficult to do. You'd literally just take snips of the shoutbox code, and then rewrite the input structure to feed from the settings table, or wherever the custom field is stored. You'd add another table to keep track of them to prevent duplicates and to record the time of posted date...

Not something I myself would have time to do, but it's not rocket science to get working. If you have any knowledge of PHP and a bit of MySQL you could do it yourself.
