Title: Installing Error

Hey guys am totally new to all this and am having a few problems installing the latests SimplePortal 2.0.5, currently running 2.0 BETA SMF forum.

Anyway when i go to install the mod i get these errors..
Right click and view image if its too small.

I tryed to do test conection but it said failed to connect to server but i entered my details correctly so am not sure whats wrong there.. =/

Oh and am not using any mods, this is a fresh new forum i just made.

And help on this would be greatfull.

Okay, that error suggests that there are some major issues happening. Firstly, have you tried installing any other mods? Did they give you the same error?

I believe that you should be able to fix that error by chmoding your 'sources'  and 'themes' directories to 0777. You also may need to chmod your 'packages' directory as well. You can also try making a folder in your 'packages' directory called 'temp' that is also chmoded to 0777.

Any updates on this?
