Hello there ,
I am from India,Kerala .I am thinking to translate simple portal into Malayalam,Tamil .
I WATCHED the Read me files .But which font is need to use to translate in to Malayalam and Tamil.
Currently i have translated the sportal.English.php into Malayalam ,
Which font need to use ? or what i need to ensure before converting ?

I couldn't find it in here: http://download.simplemachines.org/?languages
in order to have a SP translation, this trasnlation must be one of the official translations in SMF.org

Ahh No. SMF have no more indic language support .
Okkk leave that matter ,Is there any other way to convert Sp to indic languages ,and is it mandatory that these must be in smf ?

well, since SP depend on smf, SP language also depends on smf languages, what you can do is to translate the three SP files in to Malayalam and just leave the names of those files as it is, Simpleportal.english.php, SPortalhelp.english.php that way, you will have sp translate in to your language.
