Does this error show when you view your forum?

Could you please attach a copy of your Subs.php file?

It's not when i view the forum, its when I try to install my simpleportal. The subs.php is attached to this reply. Also I'm using version 1.1.11 of smf.

I fixed that error, but now when i run install1-1.php i get:

Quote
Warning: fopen(/home/rakdraco/public_html/Rs-lab.org/PortalStandalone.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/rakdraco/public_html/Rs-lab.org/install1-1.php on line 1012

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/rakdraco/public_html/Rs-lab.org/install1-1.php on line 1013

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/rakdraco/public_html/Rs-lab.org/install1-1.php on line 1014
but it creates the database, and i still cant access my homepage, that gives me this:
Quote
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSEIF in /home/rakdraco/public_html/Rs-lab.org/index.php on line 217

It looks like install1-1.php was unable to open that file for writing.
Perhaps this is because of incorrect permissions on the file or the directory it is in.

It looks like there was some problem modifying index.php, resulting in a php error in that file.

Did you take a copy of the files before you began this install or upgrade?

It seems as if the package manager has done something awful to your files.
