Hello:

I had some problems installing RC4, and so I don't have the option to uninstall SP 2.3.2. I now have RC4 up and running.
When I try running install2.php in the main Dir I get that error above. How can I uninstall sp 2.3.2 not lose what I have coded on the portal and install sp 2.3.3?

Never bump your support topics within 24 hours of posting them, let alone half an hour. All support given at SimplePortal.net is done by volunteers, so you can't expect support to be given so quickly.

Firstly, try redownloading the SimplePortal package (and trying to install SP 2.3.3).

As a note, upgrading from SMF 2 RC3 to SMF 2 RC4 will always mean that you have to reinstall SimplePortal. As there is no 'small' upgrader between those versions. So unless you reinstalled SP 2.3.2 after the SMF upgrade, it won't be installed.
