Title: css stylesheets for html insode boxes and pages
Post by: Sam12345 on December 11, 2010, 07:53:36 AM
Hi there
I have been trying to create css based html content for placing inside the boxes and pages but it seems like the overall css styles of my theme are conflicting with the ones for my html content and thus the results are not pleasant. Is there a way to isolate the content of the boxes or pages from the overriding stylesheets of the theme, and thus be able to use separate css files.
Thanks
Sam

If you use a different CSS style class for the title bar and body of the block, then you can style it differently from the rest of the site.
My suggestion: decide on new names for your styles, then copy them from index.css and portal.css -- right into portal.css, with the new names.

Then, start altering the new style definitions.

You will have to apply the new class to every single block. But you should be able to get the effect you want.

Is this what you mean?
