Title: Problem ... SMF2 and SimplePortal 2.3.3 RC4
Post by: rajt on December 17, 2010, 09:01:23 AM

 Hello

I installed the first time SimplePortal on my forum over the CP. Everything went smoothly.

 The problem to me.

When I login to my site I am redirected to the forum instead of the portal.
When you are logged off the site I get this

Code: [Select]
Not Found
The requested URL / action = forum was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

 -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------

 Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.17 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.gigalon.com Port 80 [/ code]

When I go back I checked out the site without the studies, as well as the previously displayed page that I listed above.

Hi,

I have the same or a similar problem.
Some times I get after login the following error message:

The requested URL /action=forum was not found on this server.

The Url look wrong: http://www.server.net/action=forum

The error occurs since installing SimplePortal 2.2.3 - But i use SMF 1.1.12

I dont understand when this happens.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Harald

Hi!  I just ran across your issue in a social board and moved it to this support board, so Support Helpers can find it.

Are you still having this problem with simpleportal?

It sounds as if you had some problems during installation.

Something is happening to the URL.
Do you have any kind of URL prettification turned on? Pretty URLs?
