When we use front page option, the index page is the page we specify as front page, but when we use stand alone option, the forum page becomes the index page. Essentially, when we use front page, the visitor lands on that page from a search engine but when we use the standalone option, the visitor lands on the forum index page and then has to navigate to the stand alone page. Why is this so? Is it possible to use standalone page and have it indexed as the main indexed page if it is on the same server and in the same root.
