Title: Block for scrolling Images (Covers) from Topics

Hi all,

I have a movie forum and I'd like to install a block that gives my forum a   scrolling (moving) images (covers) of the topics so when you click on a cover you go directly to the topic of a movie. That would be great! :D

A topic at my forum starts with first a cover image of the movie so what i want is a  block with a connection to the cover images scrolling (moving) and when you click on a cover you will be redirect to the topic.

I have SMF 2.0 RC4 and simple portal 2.3.3.

I placed my question on SFM Forum and I got this answer from a user:

You could make a rss block in simple portal and grab the feed from the forum or gallery.
Thats how i do it with the same setup.

Update:

As I´ve switched to Vbulletin I cant really remember how to but...
as far as I remember I made the download module post a new download to the forum and then made a Simple Portal Rss block, which fed from that particular forum.

The block does not directly pull the feeds from the download module but from the forum instead.

I don't know how to set this rss feed up in a block???

Please can somebody help me with this. What I need is to put in rss feed that refers to all topics via the covers of the movie topics!

Update:

When putting this code in a Custom BBC Block I get a scrolling Cover which is clickable and redirects to the topic:

What I want is referring to the covers from all the topics and not just one Topic. Actually I need it arranged fully automatically when a topic is announced the block is reffering to the Image (Cover) of that new Topic.

Please can somebody help me with this?

Now I have it working by another block:

Recent Images Attachements

The only thing I need now is to make the images scrolling (moving)!!
The images now are still!!

Please can you give me the code in Potalblocks.php to make the images moving?
