The Portal Page now is KIND OF like the SimplePortal pages, but not implemented that way.
And the central area is always either "Articles", or else empty (if articles is turned off).
And the central Articles area is KIND OF like the Articles block, but not implemented the same way.
Would it be possible to make the Portal page more like the SimplePortal pages?
This way, the admin could switch the center block on or off while still leaving articles enabled (for use in blocks on other pages). Or, perhaps, even choose from HTML, PHP, or BBC for the central block.
