Title: Can I Use Different Websites?

Hi

Can I set SP as a Standalone on 1 website like www.xxxx.com and the Boards as they are now on a different website www.tinroofalleypoets.org ?

As far as I know per the host they would be on the same server and db.

What extra coding would I need to do, if any?

SimplePortal will work in a different subdomain from the forum, but (as far as I know) not in a different domain. This has to do with how SMF handles cookies.
 
So if you set up the portal in a different domains, users may have problems staying logged in.
