Title: SMF 1.1.13 with SP 2.3.3: go to URL but don't see Portal Page

Hi. My husband installed SMF 1.1.13 and SP 2.3.3 at a test site: http://funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth (http://funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth). He is using a custom theme (SM-Tema-v2 Theme 2010 Design By goKhaN-c3).

Simple Portal is set to Front Page mode, and I was able to get the menu buttons properly configured. When you click "Home," it loads the portal at http://www.funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth/index.php (http://www.funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth/index.php), and when you click "Forum," it loads the forums.

However, as you can see, when you just go to the "naked" URL above, it loads some other index page. I have looked at all the SMF and the theme's index pages, and I cannot figure out why it's behaving this way! What have we missed?

When I try, I see almost the same thing as at http://www.funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth/index.php (http://www.funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth/index.php)
But without any of the content, and with only the center block -- none of the side blocks.
 
Do you have an index.html?
Do you have any settings in .htaccess that would affect which file is loaded when http://www.funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth/ (http://www.funtouchgamer.com/ambardiarebirth/) is requested?
