Not sure whether this is a mod or block request so please move as appropriate.
Here's the idea, I originally posted this on the SMF forums but the more I thought about it the less I realised it was to do with SMF and more Simple Portal. The majority of forums are for the discussion of a particular topic. Whether this be games, sports clubs, music etc etc.
I run a forum for my local scuba diving club, we use SMF for the majority of the information sharing, however we also use facebook's groups for sharing photo's and social events. The block that I would like to see would be to show images (photo roll) for a preselected album on the group or random images from all albums.
My background is .Net and I've used the graph API before. I guess what we would need to do is allow a users details to be entered somewhere, then it would just be a case of specifying the graph id of the album. Or if none is specified finding the graph ids of all albums and selecting one at random. Once this is done then its just a case of pulling JSON objects back.
This would just be the first mod, then there could also be subsequent mods to retrieve posts from facebook, events on facebook etc etc.
What do you think? I know I would use it I'm just wondering if others would too.
