SP-Erase Shouts v1.2
Simple Portal Plugin for version 2.3.3
This modification will add an additional option to the Simple Portal Shoutbox administration page for deleting all shouts from a specific shoutbox.

+ Adds a clear shoutbox option to the Simple Portal Shoutbox Administration Page
+ Clears the appropriate sql column(s) from the sp_shouts table
Version 1.1
! Fixed placement of the delete all option in the SP Shoutbox Admin page
! Sets the approprate sql column(s) for the sp_shoutboxes table
Version 1.2
! Changed file replacement to editing (Due to other possible plugins/mods file edits)
+ Added english utf-8 language file
Note:
With the default SP setup for deleting shouts from any shoutbox you have enabled you can delete and then recreate the specific shoutbox and the history will be cleared.
This installation just adds a small option to make things a little easier for this purpose.
The -Delete All- will only work from the Shoutbox Admin if there is more than one shoutbox listed (don't need it for one option anyhow!).

Admin -> Simple Portal -> Shoutbox
... it adds a checkbox to clear shouts in any specific shoutbox from that menu.

Updated this with 2 small fixes (shown during install).
- Uninstall old version
- Delete old version
- Install this version

I have just noticed that you guys are using an earlier version of smf im using 2.0 along with SP2.3.3
will this mod work with this version?
Do I install this through the smf package manager?
Just checking I get this right first time.
BTW Underdog i have been busy and have been unable to install this mod or be online

Yes it will. It should work with any installation of SP 2.3.3

v1.2 now available.
For anyone using v1.1 and NOT using the SP-Shout Scores plugin simply uninstall and delete the old version prior to installing v1.2
For anyone using v1.1 and YOU ARE also using the SP-Shout Scores plugin, please uninstall the SP-Shout Scores plugin first and then commence with upgrading this plugin.
For this version (SP-Erase Shouts v1.2) and onward it will not matter which order any plugins are installed/uninstalled.
