Title: Adding Forums Button to Nav bar

ok so i have been looking for a long time on how to do this but cant seem to get it to work, if anyone could help me adding it, it would be much appreciated.

Can you be a bit more specific on what you tried and what went wrong with it? in the index.template.php you supplied, I cannot see the forum button you were working on.
