Is there a way to create two "half" center blocks? 

Example:

!     TOP  BLOCK   !

| 1/2 blk || 1/2blk|

You can put blocks in blocks - I would you could do it that way - not sure if the formatting would work out exactly 50% without extra work.
I dont know anything about it but you could try searching. Im sure one of the customizers/programmers will help when they are in here.
