Hello

I am currently considering changing my established forum to SMF with SP modification.

So far, I am impressed but just have a couple of issues I would like to resolve before making the commitment.

When in the forum I wish for the standard SMF menu to be displayed but when in the Portal I would like the menu to display something like:
Home | Page 1 | Page 2 | Page 3 | Forum (without the dividers - just there for clarity)

In other words, all the stuff associated with SMF menu (Search, Messages, etc) only displayed when in the forum.

Is it possible to create a second menu and have SP use that one?

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

JohnS

I figured out that the menu configuration is contained in SMF Sources/Subs.php and SimplePortal modifies this to add a Home button.

If I created a copy of Subs.php and renamed it (say) SP_Subs.php then could I configure SimplePortal to use SP_Subs.php when in the Portal Home Page (or any other pages created within SimplePortal), but when in the Forum or any other SMF page to use the original Subs.php?
