Hi all, Man did I screw up. I thought I was going to the theme I was editing as a member and not admin just in case I screwed it up. I guess I was in admin.

I tried to alter the theme index.template.php for Darkster to add forum button to the theme. It didn't work. So then I tried to upload the original theme index.template.php and got the following error:Unable to load the 'main_above' template.

Here is the original that I am trying to load back up.

Can someone help please?
Thank you,
Scott

Holy mother, that file is just one giant line. No wonder it can't find any functions.

I'm guessing you transferred the file wrong. Could you try uploading the backup file here?

ScottDB

Unfortunately that was the backup. I never looked at it before I posted. This is the second time this has happened to me. All I did was hit edit from filezilla and save as then attach to post. Got any ideas why this would happen?

I guess my best bet is to download the theme again then extract the file and upload it.
Thank you,
Scott

I would place a bet on that bet.

Try doing that and make sure your FTP is transferring properly (Eg: Try using automatic mode).

ScottDB

got it to work. Still don't know why this happens every now and then. I dont drag and drop as a rule. I always use the upload and download. Thanks for responding anyways. First time I have ever not been able to get into site. Kind of freaked me out and I posted before I thought about what I should do.
Thank you,
Scott

I used to have this and a similar issue with Filezilla. I don't use it anymore.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

I myself love FireFTP.

It's an add-on for Mozilla Firefox.

ScottDB

Switched to FireFTP and it worked great plus it is a lot more conveinient to use. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you,
Scott
