Hello,

I have a forum SMF 2.0 RC2 with the SimplePortal 2.3.1

After installing SimplePortal we can not longer see our own Custom Profile field in the topics when logged in, but visible when logged out. No problem to see this of all other members, see the picture please. Aantal Cavaliers: 1 is also filled in in my profile like by member Tejo but not visible for me when logged in.



Any idea how I can fix this? Thx

I couldn't replicate your specific issue.

What are the 'Show on Topic View', 'Choose Placement' and 'Privacy' settings for that particular field?

Hello Nathaniel,
Show on Topic View is clicked on (V) - Choose Placement is Standard (with title) - Privacy is Users can see this field, owner can edit it.

Very strange is that I had 7 left blocks but I just deactivate Member Information and now these Custom Profile Fields are visible in all the posts of our selve and also all the members, when I activate again the Member Information it's no longer ok

I just changed the Block Member Information > Block Permissions in Check all - Permission Settings for All Membergroups - in Display Options I clicked on Advanced Options and Check all and after this Activated again this block and yes... the custom profile fields are visible now for everyone 

On the support of smf this problem was also posted a time ago.

On this forum it is just the same, I can not see the following I filled in > SMF Version: 2 RC2
SP Version: 2.3.1 in my posts but only when I'm logged out. I see these logged in and logged out of all the other members.

I hate to bump this old topic.   

This problem persists for me.  I have set my Member Information block the same as Linda.  However I am still unable to see my own profile fields. 

I can see my own profile fields with the block disabled.
