Okay so I installed the shoutbox included with the Simpleportal today and I'm having issues with the way it is displaying the shouts with my current theme and cannot figure out where to fix it so I come to you guys.  Here is screenshot of it.. http://www.tholeweb.com/shoutboxss.jpg

What is happening it looks like to me is there is a dashed underline underneath all lines of text in the shout and the spacing is causing those to fall on top of the text?  Anybody have any ideas on how to get rid of those lines?  The look like the shout separation lines to me.  The theme I am using is AF316.

It was a style.css issue causing all the problems.  I just went ahead and made a new style.css using the default as a template and transfered over all the colors.
