Block header too small after upgrading
« on: November 19, 2009, 05:30:39 PM »
OK , just upgraded to sp 2.3.1 and someone tells me that the block images are too small , here are screenshots

before
http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/4679/farow040.png

after
http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7036/farow038.png

And seems that it works fine in firefox but the images are small in other browsers , i tested in opera and chrome

It is quite possible that this is a theme issue (either compatibility or otherwise) as it is related to templates.

What theme are you using?
Can you post a link to your website (via PM if you don't want to post it publically)?

Ah, I see the problem, you are using the Hide SMF version mod, which trashes the $forum_version variable that SimplePortal needs to detect if you are using core or curve.

This edit will force your forum to use the core compatibility mode, which should fix this issue:
Code: ("Find (Sources/Subs-Portal.php)") [Select]
$context['SPortal']['core_compat'] = in_array($forum_version, array('SMF 2.0 Beta 3 Public', 'SMF 2.0 Beta 3.1 Public', 'SMF 2.0 RC1', 'SMF 2.0 RC1-1', 'SMF 2.0 RC1 1', 'SMF 2.0 RC1.1', 'SMF 2.0 RC1.2'));

Code: ("Replace") [Select]
$context['SPortal']['core_compat'] = true;
Edit: This is not a bug in SimplePortal, more an issue with how that mod empties the $forum_version setting (it should be done later on). Moved to the English Support board.
